South by South East Asian (SXSEA, pronounced 'sexy') is a Naarm-based initiative that celebrates and supports artists from the Asian diaspora, from the South to the East.

We are committed to creating spaces for artists to be themselves and create freely, without the weight of cultural expectations. 

We believe there's nothing SXSEA-er than supporting artists of colour.

As Asian diasporic communities living and creating on unceded Aboriginal land, we recognise the ongoing sovereignty of First Nations peoples and stand in solidarity with their voices and creative expression.
